The Building 8 Extension Project developed for Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. at the Hoşdere Facilities was completed by DEA YAPI on a 4,000 m² construction area on a turnkey basis in 2012. The project, involving the addition of a new floor to the existing building, was delivered through integrated execution of reinforced concrete structural systems, silicone façade, finishing works, and electrical-mechanical installations.
Constructing an additional floor on an active production facility requires specialized engineering discipline. Core priorities included reanalyzing the load-bearing capacity of the existing structure, maintaining uninterrupted production flow, and enforcing the highest standards of occupational safety. The silicone curtain wall system ensured aesthetic continuity, while finishing works, mechanical-electrical installations, and HVAC systems were completed in compliance with international automotive industry standards.
