The new factory building project developed for Malhotra Kablo Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. within the Kütahya Tavşanlı Organized Industrial Zone was constructed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis during 2022-2023. India-based Malhotra Cable was established in 1974 with the goal of producing high-quality automotive cables and has since specialized in designing, manufacturing, and supplying state-of-the-art cable solutions that power today’s and tomorrow’s vehicles. Serving a broad automotive market ranging from traditional vehicles to electric and autonomous platforms, the company places strong emphasis on advanced engineering and technological development.
The project was designed as an integrated production facility covering 12,000 m² of enclosed area on a 20,000 m² site within the Kütahya Tavşanlı Organized Industrial Zone. The complex, which includes Factory, Administrative Building, and Laboratory sections, was planned with careful consideration of the precision, clean production conditions, and quality control infrastructure required by the automotive supply industry. Infrastructure works including drainage, stormwater, wastewater, and fire safety systems were completed in compliance with international standards, while a steel frame load-bearing system was selected for the superstructure to accommodate wide-span production halls. Architectural and MEP solutions supporting precision measurement equipment were applied in the laboratory section.
The Tavşanlı Organized Industrial Zone represents an expanding production hub for automotive supply industry investments on Kütahya’s industrial map. Its proximity to the Bursa-Eskişehir industrial axis creates a strategic advantage for international investors entering the Turkish market.
