The Raw Material Warehouse and Office Building project developed for Dede Kimya Nikelaj Polisaj Malzemeleri Hırdavat San. ve Tic. A.Ş. in Gebze, Kocaeli, is being constructed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis during 2023-2024. Founded in 1968, the company has served the metal processing sector with an expanding product range since its establishment and stands as one of Turkey’s most established firms in the metal coating field.
The project is located on a 10,000 m² site within the Kocaeli-Gebze V (Chemistry) Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (GEBKİM OSB). With a total enclosed area of 10,800 m², the complex includes production-storage and office building structures, designed to meet the company’s production and management requirements. The high security, chemical resistance, and environmental protection standards required by specialized chemistry industrial zones are being addressed meticulously in every detail of the structure. Infrastructure works including drainage, stormwater, process wastewater, and fire safety systems are being completed in accordance with international standards, while a steel frame load-bearing system is being selected for the superstructure to provide flexibility across wide-span storage volumes.
GEBKİM OSB represents one of Turkey’s most well-equipped specialized chemistry industrial zones. Thanks to its proximity to the TEM highway, ports, and airports, it forms a strategic production and logistics hub for the chemical industry, hosting the modern investments of long-established companies such as Dede Kimya.
Since 1988, DEA YAPI has delivered turnkey construction services to the chemistry and metal processing sectors, bringing its technical discipline, engineering competence, and quality assurance to the Dede Kimya project.
