The New Logistics Hub project developed for LC Waikiki Mağazacılık Hizmetleri Ticaret A.Ş. on a 525,000 m² plot in Aksaray was completed by DEA YAPI on a turnkey basis during 2022-2023. Designed to support the domestic and international distribution capacity of LC Waikiki — one of Turkey’s leading retail brands — this large-scale logistics center was delivered through the integrated management of both infrastructure and superstructure works.
The project was constructed as two separate buildings, the first covering 41,000 m² and the second 68,000 m² of enclosed area. Within the infrastructure works, 140,000 m³ of excavation was carried out and robust ground improvement was achieved through 48,000 linear meters of bored pile application. A total of 24,000 m³ of concrete and 3,100 tons of reinforcement steel were used during construction, while wide-span storage volumes were planned to accommodate the racking systems and automation infrastructure required by modern logistics operations. Fire safety, drainage, stormwater, and electromechanical systems were integrated in line with international standards.
Aksaray has been progressively gaining strength as a distribution hub on Central Anatolia’s logistics map. Its location at the intersection of the Konya-Adana-Ankara triangle enables rapid distribution to every region of the country, making it an ideal base for retail logistics operations.
