The K7 Building project developed for Oyak Renault within the factory site was completed by DEA YAPI on a 9,711 m² construction area with 8,769 m² of covered area on a turnkey basis in 2008. Designed with a steel frame load-bearing system on reinforced concrete foundations, the factory production building was delivered with comprehensive infrastructure, mechanical, and electrical systems.
The scope included foundation works with 6,650 m³ of concrete and 120 tons of rebar, and a superstructure built with 697 tons of steel structure. A +7.00-meter clear height beneath the trusses and +10.00-meter top height provided the volume required for cranes, conveyors, and robotic systems used in modern automotive production lines. 8,404 m² of roof covering and 3,133 m² of façade cladding were applied, with restrooms, office sections, and mechanical-electrical installations delivered as an integrated scope.
Automotive OEM production buildings require load-bearing systems that provide wide spans, high ceilings, and flexible production organization. Steel structure meets these requirements while offering rapid installation. Oyak Renault’s Bursa Factory is one of Türkiye’s most established production facilities in the automotive sector, playing a strategic role in domestic and export manufacturing.
