The Logistics Center project developed for Pınar (Yaşar United Marketing) in Esenyurt/Istanbul was completed by DEA YAPI on 17,150 m² of open area and 27,000 m² of covered area on a turnkey basis in 2018. Covering all construction, mechanical, and electrical works, the project represents a strategic investment strengthening the distribution capacity of Pınar — one of Türkiye’s leading food brands — across the Istanbul region.
The construction process was managed end-to-end by DEA YAPI, from geotechnical surveys to final acceptance. Within the 27,000 m² covered area, cold chain storage, dry warehouse, vehicle docking ramps, dispatch areas, and management offices were planned together. Food logistics is a sensitive sector with specialized requirements — refrigerated warehouse temperature control, hygiene standards, pest management, and HACCP-compliant infrastructure. Every detail of the facility was designed in line with these standards. Electrical and mechanical systems were established on redundancy principles that safeguard uninterrupted cold chain continuity.
Esenyurt, located on the European side of Istanbul near the TEM and D-100 highways, is a strategic logistics hub for both urban and intercity distribution. As one of the fastest access points to Istanbul’s high-population consumer market, the district is an ideal distribution base for FMCG and food sector companies.
Since 1988, DEA YAPI has brought its technical discipline from turnkey logistics center construction services delivered to the food, FMCG, and logistics sectors to the Pınar Esenyurt project.
